The goal of a pitch and how I help you make it easier for you to get your message across

What do we want to do in a pitch - tell ALL the details? Or enough to get them excited?

It's tempting to want to share all the great stuff you've been working on. Yet the goal of the pitch is not 'Full Understanding". We simply want them to be interested enough to take the next step - and details in the pitch are not the best tool to get there. Find out more here...

In this chapter:

  1. Video 1. Explaining what we want to achieve with our pitch.
  2. Video 2. How I'll make it easier for you!

Three Takeaways

  1. A pitch is a Time Pressured Presentation, with a Clear Ask and a Personal Edge
  2. We don't convince by putting every single detail into the pitch.
  3. The tools in this masterclass have been developed as a result of numerous interviews with people who listen to pitches, and coaching hundreds of startups - to identify what to tell, and what to leave out of the pitch.

Three Takeaways

  1. This course is all about practical steps you can take to build up your confidence.
  2. You'll create a story you stand behind and manage the time pressure, so that your story moves your audience - and gets you the resources and support you need.
  3. There's no 'mind tricks' or vague advice here, such as 'just tell a story' - this course walks you step by step through a practical, easy to apply process to build your winning pitch.
